Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, giving you the flexibility to choose the days that work best for your schedule. With our pay-as-you-go option, you only pay for the days your child attends, allowing you to try out our preschool without committing to the entire school year.

Three Year Olds
Welcome to Calvary’s Three-Year-Old Preschool Class!

Our Three-Year-Old Preschool Class meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM,. We offer a comprehensive program designed to foster your child’s physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual development.

From discovering nature to learning about community helpers, our monthly themes inspire creativity and spark a love for learning.

On select days, your child can join our kindergarten class for a special lunch and outdoor time from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Lunch Bunch provides a chance for your child to socialize with older peers, fostering friendships and building confidence. Our experienced staff supervise the lunchtime activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all children.

Choosing Between the Fours and PreKindergarten Classes
The following helps to identify a child ready for the PreK class:
- At least 4.5 years of age on the first day of class.
- Strong verbal skills. (Easy to communicate with teachers.)
- Able to listen to a 5-10 minute story.
- No longer requires an afternoon nap.
- Independent bathroom skills.
- Attempts to write first name.
- Separates easily.
- Likes coming to school.
- Can recognize his/her name.
- Can follow 2-step directions.
- Able to handle 4 days/week schooling.
- Knows shapes and colors.
- Can correctly hold a pair of scissors.
- Can cut straight lines.
- Knows some letters and numbers 1-10.
- Previously has been in a school setting.
As you look over this list, carefully and prayerfully consider which option is best for your child. Know that whether your child attends the Fours or the PreK Class, he/she will be ready for kindergarten. Ultimately the choice is up to you and what is best for the family. Kindergarten

Approved Curriculum
Our curriculum is approved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and aligns with the standards set for Kindergarten students. With a focus on academic excellence, our curriculum includes written assignments, quizzes, and tests in all academic subjects to ensure comprehensive learning and mastery of key concepts.
Christian Education
We believe in integrating faith into every aspect of education. That’s why our Kindergarten curriculum includes daily Bible lessons, known as Jesus’ Time, where students engage in prayer, memory work, and exploration of 36 Bible stories. Each week focuses on a different Bible story, accompanied by various teaching strategies and activities that reinforce the lesson and foster spiritual growth.
